Assist with the recruitment and selection of candidates. Assist with all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests. Update records of new and existing employees Assist with general communication (phone, emails, and in-person) with staff. Draft general forms, letters, reports, and memos as necessary. Photocopy and scan documents as required Create new files and records as necessary Assist with special projects and reports Maintain confidentiality of all HR and employee data. Previous experience with Recruitment & Selection in fast-paced environments is an asset. Experience with HRIS to process and file information (familiarity with Bamboo HR and/or UKG is a strong asset). A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Human Resources Coordinator is required Formal education in Human Resources is required. Previous experience in the construction industry is required. Understanding of Human Rights legislation and the BC Employment Standards Act is required. Canadian experience is required. Work Conditions This is a full-time (40 hours per week), office-based position. Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals. Able to lift 25 pounds. Overtime as required.
