Insurance Grads who join our New Grad Program can learn about the three largest departments within our organization: Underwriting, Claims, and Risk Services, as well as some of the Shared Services that support our operations. The Northbridge Associate Underwriter, New Graduate Program is a comprehensive 8-week educational program that jump-starts your career as an Underwriting Professional in the insurance industry. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Program, grads assume the role of Associate Underwriters within Northbridges industry-leading Underwriting Team. This program is paid as well. What Do Underwriters Do? Underwriting is an exciting and fast-paced place to kick-start your insurance career! As an Underwriter, you review information, analyze risks, and design insurance solutions that meet each clients needs. Youll collaborate with Broker partners, work on renewals and new business opportunities, and team with our Actuarial and Corporate Underwriting groups to support smart, strategic decisions. Its a dynamic role that blends analytical thinking with teamwork and problem-solving, and it opens doors to growth opportunities and career paths across the insurance industry.
