Summary: The Boom Truck Class 3 Driver operates a truck equipped with a hydraulic crane to lift, move, and place heavy materials. They ensure safe operation, precise placement, and compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities: As aBoom Truck Class 3 Driver, your duties will include but are not limited to: Must be able to operate a Boom Truck, used to deliver and retrieve bins to and from customer sites. Ensure customers are serviced as per their contractual requirements and schedules. Physical ability to open and close heavy bin doors, secure bins with straps and chains, and climb on to the truck to do so, among other duties. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Meet or exceed performance and productivity expectations through proven results. Comply with all Miller Waste Systems, Provincial health and safety policies and procedures. Must use tablet computer to update routes and radio communication system to speak with dispatch. Maintain your vehicle in a tidy safe condition. Must be willing to operate other types of equipment and do other roles, such as residential collection, when required based on operational need and equipment availability. Competencies & Qualifications: Successful candidates will have a minimum Class 3 Driver''s Licence with air brake endorsement. Clean driver''s abstract and no preventable accidents in the past year. Must have excellent manual dexterity in order to operate the controls of the truck. Minimum 1-year of experience operating a Boom Truck will be considered an asset. Excellent organizational skills. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility with your work schedule is necessary as start and end times may vary. Weekends and Statutory Holidays will be required at times. Must maintain excellent attendance and performance record. Posting closing date: This posting will remain active until it has been filled.
