Job Description New Horizon Co-op is hiring a Part-Time Post Office Team Member at our Downtown Food Store in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Who we are: Co-op does business differently. Process financial transactions (cash, debit & credit card payments) through the cash register and point of sale system Maintain and organize postal service area Execute activities related to store merchandising initiatives to offer customers additional products and services (e.g., special sale items) Perform additional duties as required Why it matters: Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Who you are: Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills Enthusiastic approach to work Basic computer skill is required Practical working knowledge of daily retail operations Able to work independently and in a team Some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) may be required Availability to work on a very flexible schedule Bilingual Written and Oral skills in both French & English will be an asset Post Office experience is considered an asset Our Team Members receive competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package and an employer-contributed pension plan.
