Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are customized to respond to the dynamic and evolving security needs of both private and public sector clients. WHAT OUR EXCEPTIONAL COMMISSIONAIRES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Being a first point of contact at the main entrance, assisting visitors and contractors (access control) Conducting regular patrols (interior/exterior) Performing duties for Building Operations Manager Maintaining a secure environment free from trespassing, loitering, and property damage Keeping logbook updated with patrols and contractors Monitoring cameras and answering customers questions or guiding them to proper services. Addressing complaints Protecting staff from verbal and/or physical abuse Securing building during and after hours Documenting and preventing technical and environmental hazards Other duties as may be required by the client or site supervisor WE ARE EXCITED FOR YOU TO OFFER US: *MUST*Valid Ontario Security Guard License *MUST*Valid WSIB approved First Aid and CPR certificate Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time Ability to complete frequent patrols Ability to work outdoors regardless of weather conditions Ability to speak/read/communicate in English (fluently), ability to speak French is consider an asset Excellent customer service WHAT WE OFFER YOU: Medical and Dental Employee assistance program Family Assistance program Coaching and counselling support WHAT THE JOB OFFERS YOU: Rate of Pay: $22.13 per hour Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0800 to 1600hrs Location: 48 Owen Street, Barrie, Ontario WHAT WE EXPECT FROM OUR COMMSSIONAIRES: As a front-line representative of our company and client''s site you must be highly reliable, work well under pressure, able to work with minimal supervision, have the ability to multitask and be a professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times.
