Position Summary Reporting to the SOCC Manager, the SOCC Administrator and Auditor is responsible for ensuring that all aviation data is recorded and maintained in compliance with Canadian Aircraft regulations and company policies and procedures. This includes daily collection and audit of aircraft logs and flight ops documents. Personal Characteristics Highly flexible, with the ability to respond quickly in a dynamic environment Professional and respectful, with a positive work attitude Timely with a high level of commitment to on-time performance is essential Motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Able to handle stressful situations in a calm and effective manner Strong planning skills and detail-oriented Proven time management skills with strong attention to detail High level of respect, understanding and regard for First Nations communities Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Audit all aircraft log sheet data in the airline management software Audit all flight crew duty information on to the Flight Crew Duty spreadsheet Monitor and audit all flight and duty entries to ensure that the planned schedule is still within limitations and regulations on a daily basis Update and reflect any reassignment necessary on the Operations board to ensure that all CARs are satisfied Produce daily, weekly and monthly flight and duty limitation reports Assist Crew Schedulers in crew call outs for overtime Assist Crew Schedulers in reassigning crew members in the event that a crew member can''t complete his/her assigned duties Audit all flight and duty entries in the airline management software Coordinate the retrieval, retention and disposal process of flight operations flight plans and manifests Ensure that the applicable OFPs receive auditing within the 90-day retention period Possess the ability to make informed decisions without compromising internal policies/procedures Identify and recommend efficiency opportunities to management, which would improve upon daily processes to capture operational efficiencies, i.e. improve reporting accuracy, completeness, timeliness Perform additional duties as assigned Minimum Education, Experience and Certifications High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations Prior experience in operations and/or flight coordination preferred Successful completion of Transport Canada Exams (FD Ops and FD Met) considered an asset Working knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations would be considered an asset Strong customer service experience considered an asset Knowledge of AvAIO and Microsoft Office software is considered a strong asset Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset Working Conditions Physically able to perform all listed job duties Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role Work performed primarily in an office environment Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and telephone Ability to attend and conduct presentations May be required to lift or move up to 30lbs Physical location of position is only accessible via flight of stairs Perimeter Aviation''s hiring policy is to recruit and select the best applicant for employment solely on the basis of their qualifications for the position.
