To learn more about who we are, visit What you''ll do: Provide an exceptional level of customer service. Maintain a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all Discovery Co-op, industry, and governmental policies, procedures, and standards, including meeting established productivity standards. Be responsible for the production of goods in a scratch-to-finish bakery including ordering, receiving, measuring, baking, decorating, displaying, and pricing. May update and train all existing and new team members on proper techniques, new items, and ensuring correct procedures are followed. Perform general housekeeping duties, assisting team members when necessary, and any other duties as assigned. Who you are: You are looking for a career in Retail and: Must be at least 18 years of age Must be available to work evenings, nights and weekends. Grade 12 is required. Postgraduate degree/diploma in baking from a recognized post secondary institute Journeyman Baker 2+ years of bakery experience Co-operative retail experience is an asset Cake decorating experience is an asset Safe Food Handling Certificate is required Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, have good manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
