If this sounds like you, apply today and discover your potential with Lakeside What you will be doing in the role of General Labourer: Fabrication Shop Support Print labels and IFC drawings Perform weekly inventory counts and organize consumables Prepare and organize cabinet build materials Complete basic tool maintenance and shelf organization Clean fabrication areas and equipment Sort and restack wire, DIN rail, ground bars, and scrap Support QA/QC activities for shipping prep Assist technicians and complete adhoc fabrication tasks Warehouse Support Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization Prepare and assemble shipments with correct documentation Verify packing slips against purchase orders Provide general warehouse support as needed General Building & Facilities Support Set up and reset meeting rooms (furniture, supplies, catering) Deliver catering and internal mail Assemble office furniture and perform light facility repairs Restock kitchens and office supply areas Escort external maintenance vendors as needed Support internal/external events (room setups, common area reset) Assist with general building operations and adhoc requests Knowledge and skills required for the role: High School Diploma 1+ year of shipping and/or warehouse experience Forklift certification (required or obtained upon hire) Knowledge of health & safety regulations Inventory control and Quality Assurance fundamentals Basic computer literacy Competence with basic shop tools Ability to meet heavy physical demands (lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally) What we give YOU Flexible working schedules A competitive compensation package, with RRSP-matching Comprehensive benefits coverage (medical, dental, vision, EAP & on-demand virtual health care) A culture that promotes healthy work-life balance with above-market paid time off Challenging work and direct exposure to key industries in the Canadian market A structured training and development program and opportunities for continuous learning Access to Lakeside''s Mentorship Programempowering growth and inspiring connection through shared knowledge and support Opportunity to participate in an award-winning wellness program Commitment to Diversity Lakeside Process Controls Ltd. is committed to employment equity and welcomes diversity.
