Regular Part-Time (3 positions) Bargaining Unit CUPE Local 3223 Salary On Call Rate - $15.53/hour Call Out Rate - $34.60/hour Position Summary This position provides emergency/enhanced ''on-call'' child protection services, outside of the Society''s office hours, which ensures that all children coming to the attention of the Society are in a safe situation until the regular staff can assess the need for and provide additional service. Emergency After Hours Workers are responsible for but not limited to the investigation of child abuse allegations, serious neglect and lack of supervision situations where the risk to the child is imminent. Qualifications Social Service, Child Care or Child and Youth Worker Diploma or a Social Work Degree with related Child Welfare or Social Service experience. Minimum of 6 months in related field. Additional Information Candidates must undergo and successfully pass a background check before an offer of employment may be made. Proof of education is required.
