Position Summary Reporting to the Manager of Community Programs, the Community Programs Facilitator is responsible for delivering established and emerging programs, including prenatal and parenting initiatives, and for supporting the expansion of professional development opportunities for social service and early years professionals such as CCRR. The role contributes to organizational capacity through curriculum development, training, and resource creation aligned with identified community needs. Key Responsibilities Deliver structured workshops on prenatal and postnatal topics, life skills, and wellness for families, youth, and adults. Support the enhancement of evidence based family and youth programs by contributing to curriculum development. Codesign, pilot, and facilitate prenatal and parenting programs, including Nobody''s Perfect Parenting and evidence based curricula such as YMind. Plan and deliver professional development for community service and early years professionals, including ECE training, Mental Health First Aid and Positive Youth Development. Advance program quality through family centred, strength based, trauma-informed, and culturally safe practices. Use data and participant feedback to evaluate program effectiveness and guide continuous improvement. Collaborate with partners across child care, health, social, and community service sectors to codevelop content. Ability to maintain confidentiality, set boundaries, and uphold safety standards. Curriculum & Content Development: Strong understanding of adult learning principles and evidence based program design. Capacity to develop high-quality curriculum materials and program resources. Ability to facilitate structured, engaging, evidence based learning experiences for diverse groups. Skill in adapting content and delivery to various learning needs and contexts. Demonstrated commitment to trauma-informed, culturally safe, and inclusive practices. Awareness of systemic barriers and dedication to creating supportive learning environments. Ability to incorporate feedback and data to improve program quality and outcomes. Uphold YMCA values, safety expectations, inclusion practices, and child protection standards. Qualifications Post secondary degree or diploma in counselling, psychology, social sciences, or a related field, with a minimum of two years'' experience in family education/support or work with at risk families. Demonstrated experience in facilitation, content design, adult learning, or related areas. Experience delivering prenatal, parenting, youth, or early years programs. Credentials such as Nobody''s Perfect Parenting Program Facilitator or other trainer certifications are considered strong assets. Strong skills in adult learning design, partnership development, and data informed practice. Ability to travel within the region; a valid driver''s license is an asset. Compensation & Benefits Hours: 35 per week. Hybrid but must be available if needed on site.
