Job Description: AZ Driver Tractor Trailer (Heavy Hauling) Job Type: Full-Time Vehicle Type: AZ Tractor Trailer Industry: Municipal Organic / Bio Waste Job Overview We are currently hiring experienced AZ Drivers for municipal organic waste hauling. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of organic materials under municipal contracts, following all safety, compliance, and operational standards. Routes & Locations Pick-Up Locations: Pick-ups will be conducted at municipal facilities in Orangeville, Sudbury, and Hamilton. Drop-Off Locations: Materials will be delivered to approved processing facilities in Toronto, Guelph, Kitchener, and Hamilton. Schedule & Workload 1214 hours per day Up to 2 loads per day Early morning start times: 3:00 AM or 4:00 AM (route dependent) Responsibilities Safely operate an AZ tractor-trailer Perform municipal organic waste pick-ups and deliveries Transport and unload materials at designated drop-off locations Complete daily logs and required documentation Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Comply with all company policies, municipal regulations, and safety standards Requirements Valid AZ Drivers License Minimum 3 years of tractor-trailer driving experience Experience with heavy hauling or municipal routes preferred Clean driving record Ability to work long hours and early morning shifts Strong knowledge of safety and compliance procedures Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in organic waste or recycling hauling Familiarity with Ontario municipal routes
