Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our manufacturing and custom woodworking team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, carpentry, and blueprint reading, with the ability to produce high-quality cabinets and related wood products. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from custom cabinetry to restoration work, utilizing a variety of hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery. The role requires precision, craftsmanship, and a commitment to excellence in every piece produced. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately produce cabinetry and woodwork. Cut, shape, assemble, and install cabinets using hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment. Perform restoration work on existing cabinetry or wood structures as needed. Measure and mark materials for cutting and assembly with precision. Install cabinets securely in residential or commercial settings, ensuring proper fit and finish. Apply finishing techniques such as sanding, staining, or painting to achieve desired aesthetics. Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure specifications are met. Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety standards at all times. Assist with other construction-related tasks such as flooring installation, drywall repair, or siding as needed. Experience Proven experience in cabinetry making or woodworking is required; experience in construction painting, masonry, roofing, or general carpentry is a plus. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and woodworking equipment is essential. Knowledge of various building materials including rebar installation, siding, tile laying, plumbing, electrical systems, and caulking is advantageous. Prior handyman experience or experience in manufacturing environments will be considered favorably. Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform heavy lifting tasks as part of daily duties.
