We''re committed to innovation, efficiency, and maintaining a safe work environment where our team can take pride in what we build. --- Position Overview We''re looking to hire a motivated Apprentice Carpenter / Carpenter Helper to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to start or grow a career in carpentry, working alongside skilled tradespeople on a variety of projects. --- Key Responsibilities: Assist with framing walls, floors, and roofs on residential and light commercial projects Help install windows, doors, stairs, decks, and exterior finishes Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively Support layout, measuring, cutting, and material handling under supervision Keep job sites organized and clean Load and unload tools, lumber, and other building materials Follow all company safety policies and provincial safety regulations Work as part of a team to meet deadlines and quality standards --- Requirements: Valid driver''s license and reliable vehicle to get to various job sites Ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all weather conditions Interest in learning carpentry and construction best practices Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to follow instructions Must be punctual, dependable, and ready to work each day Basic hand tool knowledge is an asset, but we''ll train the right person Clean driver''s abstract (or willingness to provide one) Subject to standard criminal background check --- Work Schedule & Environment: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Friday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (With occasional overtime depending on project needs) Work is year-round and stable PPE required (hard hat, steel-toe boots, hi-vis vest) --- What We Offer: Starting wage $17$20/hr, depending on experience Consistent, full-time hours with opportunity for overtime On-the-job training and mentorship by experienced carpenters Opportunity to log apprenticeship hours and work toward your Red Seal certification Immediate start available for the right candidate Supportive team environment where reliability and quality are valued Potential for advancement within the company Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $17.00 per hour Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Ability to commute/relocate: Saint John, NB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required) Work Location: In person
