Location: Etobicoke, Ontario Type of Employment: Full time We are seeking a compassionate and skilled PSW to provide exceptional care to an 11-year-old child in their home. You will be responsible for providing quality care to our client on weekdays (M-F) after school - 3:30pm -7:30pm. Duties: Ensuring fall protocol is followed at all times Ensuring safety protocol is followed at all times Ensuring client''s overall health and wellbeing is maintained at all times Feeding, dressing, bathing, toileting and providing assitance in all activities of daily living to client Assisting client as needed Provide support for online schooling Willingness to learn and follow parents'' directions Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid CPR and First Aid certification Must obtain police vulnerable sector check Experience with young children (professionally or personally) Excellent communication skills and positive attitude Skills Needed: CPR and first aid for children Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication preferred but not necessary Training: Parents and current nurses/PSWs will provide orientation shifts Pay: $33-$38/ hour hired as independant contractor - no deductions We value our employees and believe that a supportive work environment is key to providing exceptional care to our son.
