Production Assembly Worker J.J. MacKay Canada Limited (MacKay Meters), is seeking to fill 1-2 positions in Production / Assembly. These are full time, hourly positions (40 hrs/week) at our corporate headquarters in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada. The Production / Assembly person is responsible to ensure that all orders are completed as specified by the quality instructions. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand and follow all quality work instructions. Meet order requirements with safety, quality and production in mind. Complete special projects as assigned by your supervisor. Other duties and responsibilities as required. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Skills: Good oral and written communication skills. Mechanically inclined. Computer literacy would be considered an asset. Experience: 2-5 years assembly line experience considered an asset. WORKING CONDITIONS: Available to work shifts, if required. Manual lifting of objects of various weights up to 50 lbs. Diverse working group.
