PartTime Household Support Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia (on Purcells Cove Road) Schedule: Mondays or Thursdays, 9:00AM 4:00PM / 8:00AM 3:00PM Pay Rate: $18$20 per hour, based on experience and references Overview We''re seeking a reliable and detailoriented individual to assist with light household duties, cooking, and laundry support. Deep cleaning (e.g., scrubbing bathrooms, mopping floors) is handled by a professional service every two weeks, so this role focuses on routine upkeep, meal preparation, and household organization. Responsibilities Daily tidying (picking up, organizing living areas, dusting surfaces) Laundry support (wash, dry, fold; change linens as needed) Cooking simple meals and snacks, plus occasional meal prep for later use Loading/unloading dishwasher, cleaning kitchen surfaces, maintaining tidy spaces Replenishing household supplies (pantry items, paper products, etc.) Reporting low supplies or small household issues (light bulbs, minor maintenance) Pet care: feed 2 cats and scoop litter boxes Occasional light errands or grocery pickups (optional, reimbursed) Qualifications & Preferences Previous experience with light housekeeping, meal prep, or household support Comfortable working independently and responsibly in a private home Respectful of privacy and household routines Ability to lift moderate loads (laundry baskets, groceries) Reliable transportation to Purcells Cove Road (Halifax) References and background check required Why work with us?
