Date posted: January 23, 2026 Job description: We are actively searching for an experienced lead Early Childhood BC Certified Educator to manage our Pre-K Program. Job Description: Manage a classroom of 24 students and train and mentor 2 direct staff members Work within the current daily program and staff routines and implement changes as necessary Deliver our curriculum with enthusiasm, and incorporate developmentally appropriate activities Prepare and maintain materials needed for daily activities, including monthly purchasing of materials Ensure our philosophy, policies and procedures are adhered to at all times Maintain confidentiality at all times and be able to build strong relationships with guardians Bond with each child and provide them with a stable and inclusive environment Demonstrate sensitivity and respect for individual and cultural differences Prepare Children for academically and promote each child''s individuality All Candidates Must: Be creative and positive with a can-do attitude Be flexible to work full-time between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm Have at least 3 years proven experience as a Lead Teacher Be able to work cohesively with the Manger, other Lead Teachers and direct team members Possess Excellent English communication skills; both verbal and written Be able to plan developmentally appropriates activities related to our curriculum Be able to describe previous leadership role(s) and responsibilities Ideal Candidate: Proven hands on experience in a group center as a room lead or mentor Fraser Health Authority licensing knowledge Child guiding and caring practice knowledge Qualifications: BC License to practice; Must have ECE Certificate Clear Criminal Record Check from Ministry Valid First Aid Certificate Junior Scholars offers a competitive compensation package including a group benefits, paid vacation, paid sick plus additional time off at year end.
