Duties Design and decorate cakes, pastries, and confections according to customer specifications and seasonal themes Prepare cake batter, fillings, icings, and decorative elements with precision and creativity Package finished baked goods carefully to ensure quality and presentation during delivery or pickup Assist in food production tasks such as mixing, baking, and assembling baked goods for daily service Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and handling throughout all stages of food preparation Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders and uphold bakery standards Provide excellent customer service by discussing design options, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction Skills Extensive experience in cake decorating, including piping, fondant work, and intricate designs Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations in a bakery setting Proficiency in food preparation techniques related to baking, pastry arts, and culinary presentation Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently within a fast-paced environment Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and shaping of ingredients Experience with packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes Knowledge of the food industry standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and quality control Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and engage with customers Previous restaurant or catering experience is a plus but not required Join us as a Bakery Cake Designer to turn your passion for baking into art that delights every guest Your creativity combined with technical skill will make each cake a masterpiece that celebrates life''s special moments.
