Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Experience with dental software such as Tracker, along with knowledge of endodontics, orthodontics, impants and pediatrics, will be highly valued. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workflow Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic and endodontic treatments, implant surgery and pediatric dentistry Take and develop dental radiographs when necessary Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Tracker Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow when needed Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with health and safety standards including instrument sterilization Assist in patient education regarding oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Requirements Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting II from an accredited program Prior experience with dental software such as Tracker preferred Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, endontics, implant surgery and medical terminology is advantageous Familiarity with digital imaging is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Professional demeanor with excellent organizational skills Willingness to learn new technologies and procedures to enhance patient service quality Job Type: Part-time Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 24 per week Benefits: Dental care Work Location: In person
