Summary DMC is currently looking for Diamond Drillers to join our team on a contract basis, based in Sudbury, ON . Reporting to the Supervisor (Drilling), the Diamond Driller will be responsible for operating diamond drilling equipment to extract core samples safely and efficiently. This role requires flexibility to travel to other project locations, as required. Responsibilities Safely position and anchor/stabilize the drill rig in the designated work area. Reviewing plans and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient drilling operations. Utilizing your expertise to operate electric-hydraulic, or other drills, extracting core samples or creating boreholes with precision. Regularly verifying dial controls, pressure, depth, and RPM to optimize drilling performance. Performing guidance or orientation tests within the borehole to gather essential data. Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on the drill to ensure optimal functionality. Working closely with your Driller Assistant and other team members to maintain efficient and safe drilling operations. Qualifications 2-3 years of diamond drilling experience. Ontario MTCU Underground Hardrock Common Core modules. MTCU Module Diamond drilling common core / U0243 Diamond drilling underground. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Sound knowledge, skills, and experience in operation of heavy machinery. Working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. Proven ability to recognize and follow verbal and written instructions. Able to work rotation, day, and night shifts as may be required. Able and willing to travel as required. Access to a vehicle and valid driver''s license is required. Additional Information We are hiring to fill an existing vacancy. Hourly Range is expected to be between: $34 to $45 CAD + hourly incentive bonus. Comprehensive benefits and retirement plan. This role will be performed on-site.
