Amalgamated Mining Group provides both aftermarket and original equipment manager (OEM) machines that are new, rented or refurbished. We are proficient in sourcing, customizing and supplying all types of surface and tunnelling machines. This position is a permanent, full-time working forty hours a week that provides IT support to two locations and remote workers. AMG offers a full compensation package including above market pay, health and dental benefits, and retirement savings. Reporting to the President of Operations, the IT Specialist is responsible for day to day helpdesk questions, creating and implementing a cyber security plan and providing IT support with company software programs. We''re looking for someone who communicates well, is organized, is willing to work hard, and come with a positive attitude. The must haves include: Some post-secondary including completion of a professionally recognized certification Experience with small companies and executing general IT services Experience with BambooHR, Salesforce, Spire and/or Microsoft Office Suite is an asset Experience troubleshooting, problem solving and providing support with company networks, Windows OS, MS Office Software and other company software programs Experience with tracking, auditing and maintaining asset records Experience with implementation and maintenance of cyber security systems and processes If this is you, we invite you to apply here Application Deadline will remain open until 11:59 PM on Sunday February 8, 2026.
