Responsibilities Guide a team in delivering business unit support and financial analysis that includes the following: Prepares and delivers financial reports and statements with varying time lines and reporting requirements including financial plans, variance analysis, budgets, project cost / benefit analysis and management reports. Conducts standard and specialized analysis in support of all relevant financial reports, statements and reporting requirements, primarily by using spreadsheet templates, generally accepted review procedures or through customized development of reporting formats and content. Applies data extraction experience to support creating new actionable and insightful management reports. Develops, monitors and reports project accounting and related KPIs. Contribute to the Finance Report for the Executive and Audit, Risk and Conduct Review Committee Monitors financial objectives in conjunction with business managers and Finance to integrate the annual Operations financial plan with the company wide strategic planning process. Develops measure and report key financial performance indicators Conducts monthly financial reviews, internal financial analysis and financial modeling required by the business unit Prepares and tracks capital expenditure and cost benefits statements for approvals, capital depreciation for the department and provide consulting services, research and review in relationship to project, cost and performance management Act as the main point of contact and liaise with BNY Mellon Operations and Finance teams (as appropriate) for day to day transfer pricing matters, revenue sharing and inter company arrangements Contribute to the Finance Report for the Executive and Audit, Risk and Conduct Review Committee Manage the team for optimum performance and development. Perform other duties, as required Qualifications University degree with focus on finance or accounting, or equivalent certification 7 to 10 years progressive experience in financial services Project cost and performance management related consulting skills Leadership abilities Managing multiple projects and routine production simultaneously Skills in conducting presentations and preparing and presenting financial analysis and reporting
