This individual will play a key role in supporting financial planning, performance tracking, and commercial reporting for North Americas first fully integrated rare earth supply chain.AccountabilitiesParticipate in monthly, quarterly and yearend financial reporting processes; preparing and reviewing working papers, analyzing results, investigating variances, and supporting timely, accurate internal and external reporting.Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles by gathering inputs from business units, building and updating financial models, tracking performance against budget, and preparing variance explanations and recommendations.Provide ongoing financial oversight for large, multiyear capital projects through monitoring project performance, tracking costs and commitments, completing cashflow analysis, assessing costtocomplete and reporting risks and variances to leaders.Review and make recommendations on revenuegenerating opportunities.Oversee inventory management processes, including valuation, reconciliation, cycle counts, and reporting for manufactured and purchased goods.Prepare analyses and reports related to SRCs financial operations, contractual agreements and new business opportunities.Communicate with external clients and service providers to discuss contracts, deadlines and share information.QualificationsMinimum 8 years experience in financial accounting and/or financial management.Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is required.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint.Familiar with Power BI and ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) is considered an asset.SkillsStrong communication and analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex financial information to nonfinancial audiences.Possess a collaborative work style with effective interpersonal skills to deliver quality work in a team environment.Excellent organizational skills to independently manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.The chosen candidate will also be required to provide an original Criminal Record Check that is satisfactory to SRC prior to the commencement of any employment duties.
