Join to apply for the Virtual Events Analyst role at Encore Canada Position Overview Virtual Event Analyst focus on virtual events (including webcasting, webinars, video conference unit (VCU)) audio, video and lighting engineering. Responsibilities include setting up equipment, facilitating technical support for the event, and ensuring successful broadcast execution. Key Job Responsibilities Event PreProduction Advance planning with client to recommend appropriate solutions onsite Liaise with internal team resources to develop solutions and technical configurations Loading content onto media servers and computers Project/production management of all events Preparing, labeling and scanning equipment as required Load/unload gear and equipment Consult with internal and customer stakeholders regarding virtual event needs to determine required solutions Arrange for appropriate resources such as video cameras, switchers, encoders, audio systems, microphones, and production talent Schedule all pertinent logistics, conduct thorough testing and dry runs, and ensure all operations run smoothly during the live shows Provide leadership that proactively helps make each event a success Conduct technical reviews and training with remote presenters in each region as needed, test audio and video technologies used, and promote the highest production standards Event Execution Provide an outstanding customer experience when in liaison with client and/or venue staff Install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and replace network and AV systems and equipment for live events and conference rooms of all sizes Operate and maintain all formats of equipment and provide expertise and guidance to the client Provide onsite guidance for crew as required Ensure all venue safety requirements and supplier protocols are adhered to Flexibility to accommodate and deliver lastminute changes to meeting requirements Provide feedback to management regarding client satisfaction Develop and document standards and operating procedures Actively participate in the production of live webcasts, sometimes as director and sometimes as crew Serve as webcast director or crew during live webcasts, set up and run a live video webcast with speakers in person or remotely, and work closely with the production team to ensure highquality technical and creative standards Apply contingency plans for common webcast problems calmly and quickly Record webcasts, edit, test, and archive all productions Provide technical support for additional digital programs such as podcasts and use current editing hardware and software to produce highquality creative programming quickly and consistently Equipment Use research and field experience to provide input on technical equipment inventory acquisition plans Assist in maintaining, repairing, and protecting all equipment Provide project support for new equipment systemization, maintenance, and repairs General Show up in a professional manner in appearance, communication, and execution Provide excellent customer service and strive to exceed expectations and needs of internal and external stakeholders through clear and consistent communication Develop and maintain good internal/external client relationships with vendors while ensuring confidentiality Remain current with industry technologies, products, and trends Support special projects as required Direct, support, and communicate with crew and account managers to ensure consistent and clear needs and expectations Complete administrative requirements such as show sheets and entering hours for payroll Provide routine quality control oversight of the event Job Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional experience in audiovisual media support and live event/broadcasting Extensive knowledge of current AV and conferencing support, including webcast and streaming media technology Strong professional presence with discretion, poise, and maturity to handle confidential information (selfmotivated, flexible, punctual, and well organized) Customer focused, service oriented, and quality driven; capable of developing and following processes/procedures to ensure operational excellence Functional ability to lift 50 pounds, walk, stand, and sit for lengthy periods Flexible working hours and availability outside of regular business hours Travel periodically as work dictates Competencies Deliver World Class Service Hospitality Ownership Do The Right Thing Demonstrates SelfAwareness Drive Results Ensures Accountability See The Big Picture Decision Quality Manages Complexity Value People Collaborates Salary Pay Range: $56,076 - $68,693 The compensation offered for this role is determined based on the qualifications outlined in the posting for the specified location. Final compensation is based on factors including location, travel, relevant work experience, or particular skills and expertise. Work Environment Warehouse and event venues. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore. Work may involve exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt, sand, dust, and varying noise levels. Working times may include irregular hours, oncall status, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
