Position Overview The Traffic Planner will be responsible for preparing high-quality Traffic Accommodation Plans that meet City of Calgary and Alberta Transportation industry standards. The ideal candidate has experience using AutoCad or RapidPlan software programs, and a back ground in engineering and/or computer science is an asset. Candidate must be willing to do other tasks as needed such as but not limited to: labor and field support, deliveries and pick ups of traffic set ups, office managment support. Qualfications Experience in preparing TAP's in Alberta (preferably Calgary) is an asset but not mandatory. Proficency with AutoCad or RapidPlan software. Understanding of Alberta traffic control standards, signage, lane closures, detours, and pedestrian accoommodation.
