Hunter Liggett, CA) Job Title: Electronics Technician Maintenance II Location: Fort Hunter Liggett, CA Hourly Rate: $34.35 Job Description: The Electronics Technician Maintenance II will support maintenance and repair operations through the application of advanced technical knowledge and diagnostic expertise. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining a wide variety of complex electronic systems and equipment, ensuring all work performance is in accordance with technical manuals, engineering specifications and established maintenance procedures. They will apply basic and advanced technical principles to solve complex problems, determine circuitry location and density, evaluate electromagnetic radiation, isolate malfunctions, perform circuit analyses and incorporate engineering changes as needed. The technician exercises independent judgment in selecting tools, planning work sequences and conducting detailed testing using instruments such as oscilloscopes, frequency and analyzers, pulse generators and complex control equipment. The role also requires a strong understanding of interrelationships between electrical circuit components. They are responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, accuracy of diagnostic results and proper documentation of maintenance actions. Work may involve providing technical guidance to lower-level technicians and ensuring compliance with accepted maintenance practices and safety standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical ability, technical proficiency and the capability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. Performs all other positionrelated duties and assigned or requested. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of U.S. Army procedures and logistics information systems. Strong customer service skills. Ability to perform various production control activities including gathering and filing records, reporting on use of materials, and monitoring customer requests. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for extended periods throughout the day. Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders. Must be able to type using a standard keyboard to communicate through email and various software applications. Must be able to lift, push or pull a minimum of 30 pounds. Must be able to work in a shop where the environment is drafty, noisy and dirty. May be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment. Must have or be able to obtain a forklift license.
