Supporting seniors with autonomy and providing floor duty support as needed are part of your role. Assist clients with ADLs and IADLs. Personal care, hygiene, grooming; toileting, incontinence pads, catheter bag. Assist with ambulation, transfers, lifts, repositioning, exercises. Meal preparation, feeding, nutrition encouragement. Medication reminders. Companionship and engagement. Light housekeeping. Regular communication, documentation, and feedback. Implement TheKeys Balanced Care Method. Qualifications Who You Are You are a compassionate professional with a profound desire to make a difference, dedicated to enhancing seniors' lives and committed to service excellence. Required Skills, Education, and Certifications Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience. Fluent English communication (verbal and written). Ability to adapt to and prioritize client needs. Remain calm and professional under pressure. Willingness to learn and grow in an evolving industry. Clear vulnerable sector check, valid within 1 year. Proof of eligibility to work in Canada. Minimum 2 professional references. Second dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Dynamic, punctual, reliable, optimistic, courteous, proactive. Preferred Skills, Education, and Certifications 1 to 3 years of caregiving experience preferred. PSW, DSW, HSW license or International Nurse certification or 510 years of caregiving experience strongly preferred. CPR and First Aid. Physical Requirements Reliably travel to client homes and office location(s). Safely perform client transfers with weight-bearing requirements as per client condition.
