General Maintenance - (UNIFOR TEC Maintenance & Skilled Trades) Join to apply for the General Maintenance - (UNIFOR TEC Maintenance & Skilled Trades) role at Cadillac Fairview. Responsibilities Perform general repairs across the property (drywall, ceiling tiles, carpentry, doors, floors, and other surfaces). Set up and take down signage, kiosks, tables, ballot boxes, banners, stages, decorations, etc. Deliver chairs, tables, and other equipment. Carry out work orders assigned through Maximo. Assist plumbers, millwrights, filtermen and electricians as directed. Maintain marketing storage room and equipment. Update directory boards and signage in the mall, office tower, galleria, receiving areas and service corridors. Maintain retail merchandising units and specialty leasing kiosks. Liaise with operations staff, guest services staff, supervisors, and tenants. Assist operations staff during emergencies. Provide contractor escort as required. Other duties assigned by the supervisor within the general scope of the work. Qualifications Grade 12 education or equivalent. Practical designation is an asset. Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. Ability to liaise with tenants. Ability to work on a team. Good practical knowledge of tools. Able to read and follow drawings and instructions.
