Join to apply for the Site Quality Specialist materials role at GE Vernova GE Vernova Canada, Inc. is seeking a Site Quality Specialist with a focus on materials management who will support the Construction & Commissioning (Site Installation) team to achieve execution excellence for our hydropower division in the Niagara region. Job Description Summary The role is part of a 15year collaboration between GE Vernova Canada, Inc. and Ontario Power Generation to refurbish SirAdamBeckI (SAB1) and SirAdamBeckII (SAB2) stations on the Niagara River. SAB1 is a tenunit station (units 19211930) and SAB2 is a sixteenunit, 104.5MW each, plant (units 19541958). The refurbishment will include major equipment and auxiliary upgrades from 2025 to 2037. Responsibilities Promote a quality mindset on site. Implement quality processes on site, including but not limited to: Control and distribution of documents Storage and preservation of materials Traceability of materials Support the preparation of documentation intended to protect GE in the event of thirdparty claims. Collect, verify, and organize quality records. Manage all nonconformities detected on site related to received parts. Support the proper recording of nonconformities as they occur. Monitor and record the execution of corrective (curative) actions. Support root cause analysis of nonconformities detected on site. Lead or support the implementation of corrective actions on site. Lead or support crossfunctional process improvements on site. Maintain up to date inventory. Required Skills And Qualifications Engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, or a similar technical field. Strong rigor in quality control or construction processes. Demonstrates excellent organizational skills. Ability and willingness to work full time on SAB1 and2 projects at Niagara Falls. Must have unrestricted Canadian work authorization.
