OverviewSupervisor Retail Food Services at Aramark Canada supervises daily food service operations, including opening and closing the store, staff coordination, customer service, and compliance with food safety and company standards.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily operations of the retail food service locationOpen and close the store, including cash counts, safe procedures, and security checksSchedule, assign, and monitor staff duties and shift coverageTrain new employees on food preparation, customer service, and safety proceduresEnsure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulationsMonitor product quality, portion control, and presentation standardsHandle customer inquiries, complaints, and service recovery professionallyManage cash handling, POS operations, and end-of-day reconciliationMaintain inventory levels, place supply orders, and receive deliveriesEnsure cleanliness of food prep, service, and dining areasEnforce company policies and workplace safety standardsAssist with performance feedback and basic employee evaluationsSupport sales goals through efficient service and team leadershipQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary training in hospitality or food services an asset)Previous experience in retail food service or quick-service restaurant environmentDemonstrated ability to supervise, train, and motivate staffStrong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulationsExperience with scheduling, inventory control, and ordering suppliesAbility to ensure quality customer service and resolve customer concernsBasic cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) system experienceStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasksFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysically able to stand for extended periods and perform light liftingAbout AramarkOur Mission: Rooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.
