Join our dynamic automotive manufacturing team in Collingwood as an Electrical Engineer or Automation Technologist and play a key role in driving reliability, innovation, and performance across our facility. Why Youll Love This Role Youll work with a mix of legacy and stateoftheart technology from AllenBradley ControlLogix and Modicon PLCs to ABB robotic systems in a fastpaced, collaborative production environment. Your expertise will help power process improvements, system reliability, and technical mentorship across our plant. What Youll Do Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize PLC systems (AllenBradley, TI, Modicon) Program and integrate ABB robots for automated processes Design, install, and maintain electrical control systems and network infrastructure Conduct preventive maintenance and diagnostics to reduce downtime Support commissioning of new equipment and retrofit projects Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions for electrical issues Maintain uptodate documentation of PLC programs, robot configurations, and schematics Ensure full compliance with electrical safety standards (LOTO, codes, etc.) Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to improve performance Mentor and support technical staff to build inhouse expertise What You Bring Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology 8+ years of North American experience in industrial automation and controls Proficiency in AllenBradley RSLogix/Studio 5000, TI Soft, and Modicon platforms Strong ABB robot programming and maintenance experience Familiarity with communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, DH+, and Modbus Skilled in reading and creating electrical schematics and control circuits TPM knowledge and CMMS experience are assets Key Strengths for Success Technical Expertise Deep understanding of automation, PLCs, and robotics Problem Solving Analytical and decisive when troubleshooting complex issues Collaboration Strong communicator and effective crossfunctional team player What We Offer Competitive salary range of $80,000$120,000, based on experience Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision) Company pension plan to invest in your future Paid vacation and personal time for worklife balance Opportunities for training, development, and advancement within the organization LOCATION: Collingwood, ON (onsite DAILY) #J-18808-Ljbffr
