When you join our Claims team, you are not just starting a new job, you are starting your career at Gore Mutual.Responsibilities:Investigate claims and determine coverage under a customers policyInform and educate customers about the claims processProcess claims payments and ensure accurate information is captured within our claims systemDeliver exceptional customer service to our customers and brokersRequirements:1-3 years of prior customer service experienceUndergraduate or post-secondary degree is preferredInsurance industry experience, call center experience, or experience within a brokerage setting is helpfulStrong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteEffective Communication Skills: Ability to convey information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to ensure mutual understanding and collaboration among team members and stakeholdersSound Judgment & Decision-Making Skills: Capability to analyze situations, consider various perspectives, and make well-informed decisionsStrong Empathy: Demonstrating a deep understanding of and sensitivity to the feelings, thoughts, and experiences of others, fostering a positive customer experienceResilience: Maintaining composure and a positive attitude in the face of challenges, setbacks, and stressful situations, while continuing to work towards achieving goalsHybrid: This is a hybrid role that includes the flexibility to work remotely, but regular in-person attendance in our Cambridge facility is expected (twice a week, Wednesdays and Thursdays).The expected base salary range for this position is $48,500 - $73,000. Depending on your relevant experience, skills, qualifications, market conditions and business needs, base compensation may vary. You have the potential to earn more through Gore MutualsRDD discretionary bonus program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.Please note: This rangereflects the expected base salary for this role but may not represent the full compensation range for all experience and skill levels.
