You will be responsible for transporting (both pickup and delivery) bulk and bagged products to customers and to other company locations. Spend your nights at home, not out on the road -We love animals spend your days improving the quality of life for livestock and pets. -Build a connection with colleagues it''s easy to make friends when you''re part of a great team Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to: -Ensure all deliveries are completed correctly and in a timely manner -Provide exceptional customer service to all customers by ensuring a professional image and attitude -Check the order book daily -Assist in loading the truck with minimal help from warehouse staff -Ensure all product is safe and secured when loading the truck and delivering the product -Maintain communication with customer service, production and warehouse staff to ensure seamless operations and completion of tasks -Able to maintain all paperwork and logs as it pertains to the truck as well making sure regular maintenance and services are performed -Must follow the laws and regulations under Highway Traffic Act and keep a clean CVOR -Familiarity of customer and supplier locations -Follow all procedures pertaining to Sequencing, Shipping, Receiving, Truck Cleanout and On-Farm Disease Control (Bio-security) -Availability for Day Shift, Afternoon Shift, and Saturdays The position of AZ Truck Driver at Minor Bros involves a high standard of responsibility and accountability. They will be responsible for transporting and distributing bulk and bagged products promptly to customers, and other company locations, as well as picking up feed ingredients for the Mill. They will represent Minor Bros in a professional manner and ensure all the duties listed below are completed in a timely and safe manner to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include: Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner, and all required logs and documentation are completed accurately. Ensure regular truck and trailer maintenance and services are performed on schedule. Provide exceptional customer service to all customers by maintaining a professional image and attitude Complete required ingredient pickups from various suppliers in a safe and timely manner. Assist in loading bulk trucks and van trailers with minimal assistance from mill and warehouse staff. Ensure all products are safe and secure when loading the truck and delivering the product Maintain communication with customer service, production and warehouse staff to ensure seamless operations and completion of tasks Maintain all vehicle paperwork and logs as per MTO requirements. Must follow the laws and regulations under Highway Traffic Act and keep a clean CVOR Familiarity with customer and supplier locations Follow all procedures pertaining to Sequencing, Shipping, Receiving, Truck Cleanout and On-Farm Disease Control (Biosecurity), as required by the Feed Safety Program. Participate in bagged feed and product deliveries for retail locations. Other duties as required by supervisory staff. Experience and Skills include: Minimum of 2 years of related delivery experience and a clean drivers abstract is required Valid drivers license and insurability in Ontario Knowledge of Southern and Central Ontario Strong customer service background, time management and organization skills Must be able to lift 25kg repeatedly without restriction and complete other physical demands Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00-$27.70 per hour Benefits: Casual dress Dental care Disability insurance Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Paid time off Store discount Vision care Work Location: In person
