Now, we are expanding our global team and looking for talented individuals like you Position Description Position Title: Industrial Millwright Department: Maintenance Location: Cornwall Reports To: Maintenance Manager Position Overview: The Industrial Millwright plays a key role in supporting production by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery and mechanical systems. This position serves as the primary point of contact for addressing issues related to production lines, equipment, and other mechanical systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Principle Accountabilities Performdaily inspectionsof machinery to ensure proper operation Clean and lubricateequipment as part of routine maintenance Identify and correct mechanical issuesto minimize downtime Remove and replace defective partsas needed Install new machineryand ensure proper setup Educate production staffon preventative maintenance practices Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance reportsand documentation Carry outwelding, fabrication, and general machining tasks Recommend future repairsand improvements to equipment Create and submit requestsfor necessary parts and supplies Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environmentthat supports teamwork and mutual respect Performother related dutiesas assigned by the manager Qualification and Requirements Red Seal Certification(Interprovincial Qualification) isrequired 3 to 5 years of experiencein anindustrial manufacturing environmentisrequired Experience withplastics or converting machineryis considered anasset Background inwork planningandcontinuous improvementis anasset Strongmanual dexterityandmechanical aptitude Proficient inprecision machining, welding, and fabrication Ability toread and interpret blueprints and technical schematics Proven ability totroubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment malfunctions Comfortable workingunder tight deadlineswithminimal supervision Strongproblem-solvingandcritical thinkingskills Demonstrates a solid understanding ofrisk management Willingness and ability towork flexible shifts We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and strongly encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including those with disabilities.
