Overview Dainty Dogs Spa is looking for a skilled and passionate Experienced Pet Groomer to join our team in Fort Saskatchewan Duties Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, full haircuts and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and up kept after each use. Communicate effectively with pet owners Handle pets safely and compassionately. Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their needs or concerns promptly. Requirements Proven experience as a Pet Groomer is necessary with a minimum of two years experience. Must be confident to groom independently without instruction. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners. Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during grooming sessions. We do a lot of larger dogs. Knowledge of various dog breeds, grooming techniques, and breed specific trims. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care is essential. This is a commission based employment at a rate of 50% +/- depending on experience.
