Job Title: Junior Accountant Date: January 23, 2026 Reporting to: Controller Arundel Capital is a fast-growing asset-based lending company, and we are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant who is eager to grow their career with us. In this role, you will support the accounting team by assisting with day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reconciliations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well organized, and brings strong communication and time-management skills along with a positive, team-focused attitude. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Calgary, Alberta head office. Responsibilities Primary responsibilities Process accounts payable invoices via cheques and EFTs Process lease equipment vendor payments Monitor daily cash position initiating transfers as required Prepare and record bank deposits Process and record customer charge backs Reconcile company credit card and expense reports Secondary responsibilities Process new lease bookings Assist in the completion of month end procedures and reporting requirements (reconcile accounts/print reports) Assist with internal and external audits as needed Complete special projects on an asneeded basis Maintain organized filing system for all accounting documents Qualifications Postsecondary education in Accounting, Business or a related field Minimum of one year of experience in an accounting role Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet multiple deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience in a lending environment (banking and/or leasing) is considered an asset Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year Benefits: Company events Dental care Extended health care Life insurance On-site gym Paid time off RRSP match Work Location: In person
