Position Licensed Practical Nurse (ADP) Location Calgary Status Part Time (0.8 FTE) Shift 7.5 hrs per shift on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. May work occasionally on weekends, evenings and nights. This position is not required to work on statutory holidays. Due to the ADP program Christmas break, this position will have 2 weeks of vacation during Christmas. Posting Date January 23, 2026 Closing Date Until suitable candidate found THE OPPORTUNITY Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Care and Clinical Manager, the Licensed Practical Nurse (ADP) will be accountable for the planning and coordination of the Adult Day Program and its activities, as well ensuring the implementation of the program will align with Wing Kei policies and practices. This position will develop, promote and participate in social and recreation activities for the clients, including client assessments, developing and planning activities based on client capabilities, and supervising the provision of client care. This position will act as the liaison person between Wing Kei and clients/families, and Wing Kei and Assisted Living Alberta (ALA). THE ROLE Key Accountabilities Demonstrate, promote and advocate the Wing Kei vision, mission and core values Perform the functions of a Licensed Practical Nurse according to the CLPNA Standards Effectively implement the nursing process including comprehensive nursing assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation Plan and coordinate Adult Day Program and its activities; develop, promote and participate in social and recreation activities for the clients, including client assessments, developing and planning activities based on client capabilities, and supervising the provision of client care.
