Advocate Printing & Publishing is searching for an experienced, safety focused Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our Pictou, NS Maintenance Team. This role reports directly to our Manager of Maintenance and Print Technology, and will be responsible for the installation, testing, operating, and maintaining of electromechanical equipment. Responsibilities Perform regular maintenance and participate in plant equipment diagnosis, repairs, part replacement, new installations, etc. Respond to emergencies; investigate equipment failures ensuring timely completion of repairs. Perform regular preventative maintenance and complete work orders, ensuring they are accomplished in a timely fashion. Support the development and implementation of a sustainable and practical preventative maintenance program. Support company policies, safety and quality regulations and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Support other team members and complete other duties as assigned.
