Bison Drivers are paid every week, on time This position requires you to be on the road 10 to 14 days at a time. Resets on the road as required. Running open-board, Canada/U.S. long-haul Southbound freight could depart from any of our Bison locations into any of the lower 48 states Northbound freight could go into any of the Canadian Provinces and Territories Must be able to drive to Alaska if required 12 months a year Required to drive in B.C. including Highway 1 and Highway 3, 12 months a year Assigned unit requires 24 days on the road per month and averaging 10,000 to 12,000 miles per month (regional freight will be required) Flexible schedule requiring weekend departures Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol Assigned unit Candidate Profile: Company Driver with 24 months tractor-trailer experience Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license Must be U.S. qualified FAST Card is an asset Must be able to work weekends Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, Driver assist is required on occasion Reliable, flexible, and punctual Strong communication skills Values safety Are you registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse?
