Our mission is to help students excel in their studies and achieve their learning goals through personalized tutoring and guidance. Role Description This is a part-time in-person role for Grade 11 & 12 Chemistry, Biology, & Physics Tutor at FOCUS Educational Services Inc. The tutor will be responsible for providing online and/or tutoring sessions, assisting students with understanding concepts, conducting lessons, and enhancing student communication skills. Tutor will be tutoring students from grades 11 & 12. Qualifications OCT license (or other teaching licenses from Canadian provinces/territories) is required OR working in their field of study for over 3 years Bachelor''s degree in mathematics, bachelor''s degree in science, Education, or related field in Canada Must have attended high school in Canada Previous experience in teaching or tutoring is a plus Must be familiar with the Ontario school curriculum Strong communication skills Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences Excellent time management and organizational skills Patience and empathy when working with students Must be available to work: o Mondays 6pm to 9pm o Wednesday 6pm to 9pm o Friday 7pm to 9Pm o Saturday 9am to 1pm Note: As this tutoring role is closely aligned with the Ontario education system, we kindly ask that only candidates who hold a Canadian high school diploma and a post-secondary degree from a recognized Canadian university to apply. Familiarity with the Ontario curriculum and prior tutoring or teaching experienceespecially within an Ontario-based academic settingare essential. Candidates must also be available to work between 12 to 15 hours per week. These qualifications help ensure the highest quality of support for our students and alignment with the Ontario Ministry of Education standards.
