THE ROLE Lisa Gozlan Jewelry is seeking a passionate, customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to support our store leadership team. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this hands-on leadership role is key to driving sales, maintaining operational excellence, and cultivating an engaging, high-performing team. The Assistant Store Manager will lead by example, providing guidance and mentorship to the sales team while ensuring an exceptional client experience on the sales floor. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine passion for client service. They thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, proactively solve challenges, and inspire their team to achieve and exceed goals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to) Lead and deliver an exceptional customer experience, ensuring the sales team consistently meets the brands high standards of service. Drive sales performance by supporting the Store Manager in setting goals, analyzing KPIs, and developing action plans to enhance results. Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening/closing procedures, inventory management, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising. Maintain a visually appealing, organized, and brand-consistent store environment. Assist in onboarding, training, and coaching new and existing team members to foster growth and development. Motivate the sales team through mentorship, ongoing education, and recognition of achievements. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism, empathy, and prompt resolution. Ensure compliance with all operational policies, procedures, and safety standards. Support marketing initiatives, in-store events, trunk shows, and other brand activations. Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and excellence. THE QUALIFICATIONS 2-5 years of retail leadership experience (jewelry or luxury retail experience preferred). Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team to consistently achieve goals. Strong business acumen with knowledge of retail math, KPIs, and data-driven decision-making. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Passion for jewelry, fashion, and styling, with a desire to develop deep product knowledge. Reliable, professional, and team-oriented with a positive, energetic presence on the sales floor. Ability to contribute to visual merchandising and store layout strategies. Track record of creating a culture of engagement, collaboration, and high performance. Comfortable with retail technology systems, including POS, scheduling, and reporting platforms.
