Description du Poste The Senior Analyst will provide SME support to the Product Control team, specifically covering Funding and Liquidity trading desks. This includes supporting the team to control, report and explain their PnL from an end-to-end perspective, support trading desks with their inquiries around revenue, and work on ad hoc investigations and requests. The senior analyst is expected to take initiative for process enhancement, engage in development and process automation work, and support for broader Product Control strategic initiatives. The role involves leveraging financial and business knowledge to meet business partner needs and foster positive, transparent relationships through the development of intuitive analytical tools. Liaise with front-office business partners to understand their needs and translate those needs into development work. Provide ongoing support for developed applications. Identify and propose projects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Funding and Liquidity PC teams, as well as the broader Product Control organization. Contribute to Product Control strategic initiatives. Build a strategic centralized repository user interface for Product Control, supporting process automation efforts. Participate in the larger product control innovation committee. Qualifications 5+ years relevant experience with product control, finance, or valuation roles Professional designation such as CFA is an asset (or in progress) Deep understanding of financial assets and valuation methodologies (fixed income, IR derivatives, FX, futures, etc.) Familiarity with ledger entries, reconciliation, and month-end close is an asset. Experience with valuation controls, PnL and attribution reporting, and independent price verification to support fair value adjustments is an asset. Proficiency with Python, VBA, and Power BI for automation/data manipulation and experience working with large data sets such as PnL reports and trade data is preferred Ability to identify gaps and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the product control function.
