The appointment will be at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026. Qualifications PhD degree in management or a cognate discipline with a focus on strategic management (e.g., economics, sociology) A clearly demonstrated record of excellence in research and teaching Evidence of research excellence demonstrated by a record of sustained high-impact contributions and publications in top-ranked journals in strategy, sociology or economics (examples of journals: Academy of Management Journal/Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Strategic Management Journal, Management Science, Organization Science, American Economic Review, Quarterly Journal of Economics, Econometrica, Journal of Political Economy, American Journal of Sociology, Review of Economic Studies), and similar caliber journals Established international reputation and ability to sustain and lead innovative and independent research with an externally funded program Excellence in teaching with ability to integrate theory and practice; strong communication and presentation skills; willingness to supervise graduate students Experience teaching both undergraduate and graduate students in a management program Responsibilities Maintain an outstanding, competitive, externally funded research program and contribute to the strategic management field Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in management, integrating theory and practice Provide graduate supervision and contribute to teaching and program development Maintain high-quality teaching dossiers and participate in short-listed on-campus seminars; engage in service to the department and university Application Process Submit a cover letter, a current curriculum vitae, a research statement outlining current and future research interests, one recent publication, and a teaching dossier including a teaching statement, sample course materials, and teaching evaluations Provide the names and contact information of three references (letters of recommendation may be requested later) Follow submission guidelines at the university''''s application portal; upload CV and cover letter into the dedicated fields and combine additional materials into one or two PDF/MS Word files Deadline: All materials must be received by February 26, 2026 The salary range for this position exceeds CAD 200,000 per annum.
