Finance Manager (MBA/CPA required) (CLOSED) Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Location Edmonton, Alberta, Canada $130,000-$140,000 per year +Benefits +Bonus Job Type Manufacturing Reference #GTR2038-026 Description Finance Manager (MBA/CPA required) (CLOSED) Leader in environmental chamber manufacturer that offers preengineered & custom equipment for a variety of industries & applications - On Site - Full Time Qualifications Bachelors Degree in relevant concentration with CPA or MBA required 7-10 years minimum of experience in Financial planning & Analysis and Accounting with a focus on partnering crossfunctionally with various teams Preference given to multisite manufacturing exposure AND/OR experience with Oracle financial systems Opportunities for career development and advancement Dynamic workplace Responsibilities Developing financial forecasts, models and reports Managing financial analysis projects and statistical studies Providing key financial analysis and management reporting by managing various monthly reporting processes Providing guidance and support on key strategic decision making to drive profitability Ensuring that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets Prepare, analyze, and report forecasts, budgets, and strategic financial plans with detailed P&L and capex focus Compare and contrast various business scenarios and provide consolidated reporting to the Group Create and maintain dashboards with weekly performance indicators to inform and influence management Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain to provide actionable financial insights supporting decisionmaking processes Function as an advisor to business units, providing insights which align operational plans with business objectives Financialize the Final S&OP results and update the LE to reflect changes Conduct modelling and scenario analysis to assess investment opportunities, cost management, and sourcing strategies Translate complex financial data into clear, visual stories to influence decisionmaking Support the preparation of monthly business reviews and Board of Director presentations alongside business leaders and crossfunctional finance partners Present financial information in a way that resonates with both technical and nontechnical audiences to drive business action Analyze market and business trends to deliver recommendations to leadership and enhance profitability Utilize visualization tools to highlight trends, patterns, and insights that are easily digestible for stakeholders Oversee financial forecast and planning calendar, including weekly and monthly forecasting schedules, the Annual Operating Plan, and longterm Strategic Plan deliverables Collaborate with production and supporting departments to ensure the food safety and quality of our products Perform other duties as assigned At Global Trust Recruitment we value applicants with a diverse range of skills, experiences and competencies, and encourage you to apply.
