Here at Amico we believe in partnering for productivity, leading through empowerment, and seeing challenges as portals of opportunity.If you want your next professional experience to be one that helps you master new skills, build meaningful relationships, access limitless growth opportunities, and benefit our Ontario communities, consider joining us!Duties & Responsibilities:Coordinating job postings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviewsPreparing offer letters and new hire packagesFacilitating employee onboarding and orientation sessionsActing as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries from staffSupporting conflict resolution and employee engagement initiativesMaintaining employee files and ensuring accurate recordkeepingAdministering HRIS updates, including new hires, terminations, and changesTracking and processing vacation, sick time, and other leavesAssisting with the preparation of reports, metrics, and compliance documentsEnsuring HR practices are aligned with employment standards legislationSupporting health & safety compliance in collaboration with the HSE teamHelping update and implement HR policies and proceduresAssisting with the coordination of employee training, certifications, and compliance programsMaintaining training records and supporting professional development initiativesQualifications:Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a construction or industrial settingKnowledge of Canadian employment law and HR best practicesStrong organizational and multitasking skillsProficient in MS Office and HRIS platformsExcellent interpersonal and communication abilitiesWhat AMICO Can Offer YouMedical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer Matching Retirement ProgramLife insuranceAt Amico, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
