We recently welcomed Dr. Meena Bhatti to our practice and are currently looking for an experienced registered nurse to work with her for 1 week per month.WHAT WE ARE OFFERING:Casual position statusCasual/permanent employmentState-of-the-art technologiesTransit accessibleCollaborative team and environment to help you succeed as a Registered Nurse. Working at Dr. Randy Berger Oral Surgery, you will experience a team-oriented environment as it is a massive part of who we are.SCHEDULE:40 hours per week (one week per month, some months two weeks per month)Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 2:30 pmWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Currently registered with The College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)Must have passed the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination (CRNE) or The National Council Licensure Examination Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN)Experience in pre-operative chart review, pre-operative review of allergies and medical concerns, connecting ECG, ETCO2, blood pressure & pulse oximetry monitors, starting intravenous lines, intra-operative patient monitoring and charting, post-operative patient monitoring and post-operative instructions prior to discharge, managing emergency drugs regarding expiry dates and re-ordering, running the daily diagnostic test of the Lifepak monitor and defibrillator, and being prepared to perform necessary duties in an emergency such as CPR, IV line insertion, administering drugs, managing a patient airway, using a Lifepak monitor defibrillator, and being familiar with and trained in ACLS (PALS is not required).8-10 years of experience is preferredDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and familiesCustomer service mindset123Dentist is an equal opportunity employer.
