In this role you will execute sales objectives for vehicles and develop and implement effective sales plans for your team. Key tasks include monitoring performance metrics, converting leads to sales, enhancing client relationships, focusing on team development, ensuring compliance with company policies and promoting a safe work environment. The ideal candidate has 35 years of automotive dealership sales management experience, strong leadership and interpersonal skills, a resultsdriven mindset and experience in buying and sourcing used vehicles. Responsibilities Execute short, medium, and longterm sales objectives for new and preowned vehicle sales. Develop and implement sales plans for your team to meet monthly and annual goals. Contribute ideas to and participate in the development and implementation of marketing and advertising initiatives. Ensure successful conversion of leads to sales. Monitor performance metrics related to team sales and customer experience. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to promote the dealerships brand. Assist in developing and implementing growth strategies. Curate an exceptional client experience. Build a strong team to execute on the sales strategy. Encourage strong working relationships with associates and stakeholders. Deliver on financial results while ensuring compliance with company policies. Promote professional development and hold associates accountable. Champion a healthy and safe work environment, ensuring all safety standards and policies are communicated and followed. Identify highdemand vehicles based on market trends and sales data. Source used vehicles through auctions, tradeins, wholesalers, and direct purchases. Build and maintain relationships with auction representatives, wholesalers and industry partners. Arrange transportation and shipping for purchases. Coordinate timely reconditioning and frontline readiness. Other duties as assigned. MustHaves Minimum of 25 years of experience in a Used Car Manager role. Experience with buying vehicles is required. Postsecondary education in a related discipline is an asset. Leadership experience required. Strong understanding of dealership accounting, budgeting and expense management. Professionalism and exceptional client service. Excellent peoplemanagement skills (leadership, coaching, mentoring). Diplomacy, negotiation and conflictresolution skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills. High integrity and trustworthiness. Detail oriented, selfmotivated and resourceful. Resultsdriven with an entrepreneurial spirit. Experience with CRM systems or automotive software is an asset.
