Company Description St Martha''s Regional Hospital (SMRH) has locum and permanent opportunities available for emergency medicine physicians. SMRH serves the health care needs of the residents of communities in Antigonish County and is the regional referral site supporting patients from Guysborough, Strait-Richmond, and the southern portion of Inverness County. This is a Level 2 Emergency Department in a94-bed hospital. The site also houses a number of other interdisciplinary services: rehabilitation centre diabetes education diagnostic imaging dietitian emergency department foot care clinic hemodialysis laboratory services mental health & addictions services occupational therapy palliative care physiotherapy social work Job Description St Martha''s Regional Hospital is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide Locum coverage during a period of active recruitment Compensation is provided by the service, and locum physicians are eligible to access the travel elements of the program, including reimbursement for kilometrage, per diems, accommodations (up to $300 per night), and airfare (up to $1,500), along with travel time up to 10 hours per week. Licensing fees for CPSNS are covered, and locum physicians may claim facility on call fees under specific conditions.
