What You''ll Be Doing: You will blend your experience and leadership in the Developmental Services Sector, and support Rygiel''s mission to enrich the lives of the people we support through relationships, independence, belonging, and advocacy. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Overseeing our inclusive living homes, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for individuals with significant medical and physical support needs (e.g. g-tube feeding, ostomy care, seizure management, mobility lifts / supports). Providing oversight and consultation to front line staff, ensuring adherence to individualized care plans, medical protocols, and health and safety standards. Supervising and mentoring direct support professionals and personal support workers, including performance management, conflict resolutions, and ongoing professional development. Support onboarding and training initiatives related to complex medical care, health documentation, and responsive behavioural support practices. Managing the day-to-day needs of your assigned portfolio of homes, including staffing coordination, documentation compliance, audits, and inspections. Responding to emergency situations as part of the on-call rotation (approximately every 8 weeks). Contributing to organizational strategy by participating in internal committees and representing Rygiel in cross-sector collaborations. What You Bring: Training and/or certification in CPI (Crisis Prevention), Conflict Management, Trauma Counselling, Case Management asset. Minimum of 3 - 5 years of related experience in direct care including experience with individuals with developmental disabilities; experience with implementation of behavioral protocols and treatment plans preferred; previous supervisory experience an asset. Working knowledge of administering a Collective Bargaining Agreement. Knowledge of behavioural, developmental services and complex medical needs (ostomy, feed tubes). Current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Reference Check (dated in the last six months). 2 Step TB Test (or negative Chest xray) (dated in the last six months). Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C. The Inclusive Living Supervisor participates in on-call responsibility on a rotational basis for weekends and weekday coverage (approximately 5 times per year). Regular travel across program sites in Hamilton is expected, including monthly unannounced site visits across all shifts.
