Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dog Groomer with minimum 1 year experience to join our team. This position will start as part-time (3 days/week) to eventually full time Monday-Friday As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of dogs, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. This role requires a love for animals, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with dogs owners. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling dogs according to breed standards and client preferences. Assess the condition of pets'' coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their dogs'' needs and grooming options. Handle dogs safely and securely during grooming sessions. Assist with heavy lifting of larger dogs when required to ensure their safety during the grooming process. Stay updated on grooming trends and techniques to provide the best service possible. Skills Minimum 1 year of experience. Ponctual Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with dog owners and address their concerns or requests. Experience in handling various breeds of dogs with knowledge of different grooming techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed when handling larger animals or equipment. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality grooming results that meet client expectations. Patience and compassion for animals, creating a calm environment for both pets and their owners. Good time management skills to efficiently complete grooming appointments while maintaining quality service.
